My Story

I am the owner of Eat Move Heal, a holistic wellness company.

I've been a Massage Therapist since 2009 and Certified Holistic Nutrition Coach since 2022.  I'm also a Certified Herbal Entrepreneur and have studied organic skincare formulation.  

My holistic health journey began in 2007 when I grew tired of working in the retail industry.  I knew I wanted a career where I could make a difference in the lives of others.  I thought about becoming a nurse, but quickly realized that was not for me.  I was looking a college programs and came a across Massage Therapy.  I set up an appointment with the college to learn more about the program.  At that meeting I was told the program was starting in a couple of weeks, so I took a chance and signed up.  It was a decision that would change my life.  I myself had never had a massage before so it was an introduction into a whole different lifestyle than I was used to, but an experience that I would grow to love.

Last year I expanded my education into holistic nutrition. Eating healthy consistently has always been a struggle for me and dealing with uncomfortable bloating and gas.  I wanted to learn a different approach to health and nutrition.  I switched to a plant based diet and although I love this approach to eating, it actually made the bloating and gas worse.  I looked into FODMAPs and decided to do an elimination diet to see if I could root out the problem. Turns out garlic is my nemesis.  Garlic was a prime ingredient in most of the plant based meals I was eating, hence why it got worse. Since then the issue has been much improved and I am now able to fully appreciate the difference that eating a plant based diet has on my health.   



My approach to health focuses on the treatment of the whole person, considering mental, social, and environmental aspects, not only the symptoms.  

I am here to help my clients transform their lives and achieve a wellness plan that fits their individual needs and lifestyle.   

My goal is to provide nutritional guidance focused on foods that are whole and nutrient dense.  To design an action plan for clients, assist with goal setting, promote behavior change and support efforts toward a happier healthier life.
